The oak tree stood overpowering the sun. Scarlet and I would climb it everyday to see who got to the top. The leaves fall down like hats at a graduation. We climbed as high as we could until we ached. I was a lot higher than Scarlet but I kept slipping. A dark cloud formed in the sky. Drops fell landing on me, Scarlet had reached the bottom and was yelling my name. But then the flash made me….  I soared down the tree breaking all the branches. The last thing I remember was never being able to walk again.
